Through the Lite Salone Project, Ibrahim Sorie Mansaray, a farmer in Mafaree Community, Dixon Chiefdom, Kambia District, now has reliable solar power for his home and family.
Before, darkness made his community feel left behind. Today, having light means more comfort, easier phone charging, more time with family, and greater safety.
Ibrahim shared how the light recently helped his family spot a big snake at night, preventing what could have been a dangerous situation.
For him, the impact goes beyond his own home. He hopes more communities across Dixon Chiefdom can also gain access to reliable electricity.
Energy access is more than light. It is about safety, dignity and opportunity.
