Reliable, clean energy is no longer a luxury. Across Sierra Leone, organisations working on the frontlines of development are discovering that the strength of their mission depends on the strength of their power supply.
That is the story behind our latest partnership with Geres, an NGO whose work in Sierra Leone places clean and renewable energy at the heart of everything it does.
When GERES set out to power its operations more sustainably, the goal was simple but meaningful: reduce dependence on conventional energy sources and embrace a solution built for the long term. Easy Solar designed and installed a 15 kVA solar power system built around 11 kWp of PV modules, paired with 35 kWh of battery storage to keep power available around the clock.
But this project was never only about equipment. It reflects two organisations aligned around a common belief, that practical, renewable solutions can genuinely transform how institutions operate and how communities experience energy access.
For GERES, it means powering its mission with energy that mirrors its own values. For Easy Solar, it is a reminder of why we do this work: to make clean energy a reliable, accessible reality for the people and organisations shaping Sierra Leone's future.
Partnerships like this show what is possible when shared vision meets practical investment. As more institutions choose renewable energy, Sierra Leone moves closer to a future powered by solutions that are cleaner, stronger, and built to last.
