Process Monitoring and Project Supervision Support
At Smart Vision, we support our clients to track changes in program outputs and performance over time in order to provide regular feedback and early indications of progress or lack of it. This helps our clients to make informed decisions regarding the design and effectiveness of an on-going project in good time. Extreme security conditions pose a considerable challenge to most international organizations operating in areas with unstable governance. While many organization have capacity and capability to visit many areas in Somalia, there are substantial limitations that prevent free movement and observation of implementing partner activities on the ground. At Smart Vision, we support our clients' M&E Departments to monitor project activities to ensure that implementation is being undertaken as per the Detailed Implementation Plan and taking into account all aspects of accountability. Baseline survey
We conduct high quality baseline surveys to provide reliable data that reflects accurate pre-project conditions in line with project verifiable indicators to enable our clients understand the starting point, and set benchmarks upon which projects' progress and impact are later measured. The organization is capable of using a range of methods involving both qualitative and quantitative tools that have been perfected for over 10 years. Midterm Reviews and End of Project Evaluations
All projects have set goals and outcomes which the responses are expected to achieve through set of activities. Such goals need to be objectively assessed at the end of the project to establish if the response has achieved what it aimed. This can only be done through quantification of the positive changes that has occurred over a period of time, and which can directly be attributed to the project activities. At Smart Vision, we conduct impact evaluation through systematic collection of Endline data which we cross-analyses with baseline in order to empirically demonstrate the positive changes that have been realized over the project period based on the project impact
Special studies assessment
Good programming requires a base of evidence and data to ensure activities adjust to changing circumstances, and that referral to services and programme coordination can be well-founded in local information. At Smart Vision, we conduct special studies and assessments to ensure that programmes are designed based on sound and specific information from the ground. By doing this we help programmes not only to be more relevant, but also to be implemented in conflict and gender-sensitive manner thereby ensuring successful implementation and increase impact for vulnerable segments of the population
Grant-Seeking Proposals and Report Writing
Many organizations in Somalia have challenge of funding, partly because they do not have capacity to write sound fund seeking proposals. To this end, Smart Vision team offers grant proposal writing services tailored to meet the guidelines of a diverse donors on behalf of the clients.
