Diversity Consulting Group (DCG) is pleased to participate in consultation meetings of the collaborative framework for the pillars of Somaliaโs National Transformation Plan (NTP). The consultations, organised by the ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญโ๐ฌ Aid Coordination Department, brought together Federal Government of Somalia institutions and private sector representatives. During the sessions, participants engaged in in-depth dialogue on practical measures to address climate change risks, with strong emphasis on:
- Policy and institutional frameworks
- Climate financing mechanisms
- Early warning systems
- Private sector engagement
The consultations also highlighted key opportunities in renewable energy, waste management, water resources, flood risk reduction, and investment in climate- and environment-related programmes, all priority areas under the National Transformation Plan. The meetings concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening sustained collaboration between government and the private sector to accelerate NTP implementation and advance sustainable, climate-resilient development in Somalia.
