We are proud to share that our Research Data Scientist, Ahmed Unshur, participated in the AI Summit Somalia 2026, held in Mogadishu on 14โ15 June 2026.
Ahmed served as a panelist in the session, โResponsible AI, Trust, and Cybersecurity: Protecting People while Enabling Innovation.โ His intervention contributed to discussions on the technical, ethical, and governance approaches needed to build and sustain public trust in AI systems.
He also emphasized the psychological and social dimensions of responsible AI development and use, as well as the importance of focusing on local context and realities.
As AI adoption continues to grow, ensuring that these technologies are developed, deployed, and used responsibly is critical to fostering innovation that is trustworthy, human-centered, and impactful.
