Rule no1 .As an artist learn the business side of the industry .Dont cry exploitation yet you entered there with nothing if that is the case.now that you ate popular you cry.It takes a furtune to build a brand.When do the investors.(stable/artist managers) see their returns on investment.The mistake that most do is that out of desparation to shine they agree to every thing in assence they use this pple as stepping stones.They play thier card close to them selves.This is the dog eat dog world..they say let the sleeping dog lay. If an artist doesnt know a thing in this industry they will take advantage. Whose fault is that no time for baby sitting its business.Some entities try to empower artist with workshops but they dont attend those who does attend have benefitted.Another weakness for our artist/africans we dont like reading or documenting agreements .We are short sighted we are not open minded we doubt our capabilities.Excuse me if you dont belong there big up to u🤟🏻🤟🏻We must learn from others mistakes.Believ me you if an oportunity to work with Micheal Jackson = may his spul R.I.P. avail itself a lot will jump to this oportuniy without looking at the contractual implications.We africans are not good in partnership ,we underestimate the power of partnership we are full of greed.We are not loyal. So growth will take forever.
