Two weeks ago we ran 's first immersive experience: Mind the Gap, hosted at Café 189 in Manzini. What participants kept coming back to in the reflections wasn't a strategy or a framework. It was awareness.

Self-awareness of patterns that reveal:
1. How we judge someone’s character when their context is invisible.
2. How we filter a returning person through an old lens.
3. How the calm version of us, writing a message, isn't the same as the stressed version of the person reading it.

No formulas. No prescriptions. Just three mirrors that participants got to see themselves through and walk out with a sharper sense of what they hadn't been noticing.

When we started Singentani, we had a hypothesis: our community is full of talented and driven people who simply haven’t met each other yet.

💡12 months later, this hypothesis has continued to prove itself. What surprised us was not just the quantity of individuals open to connect, but the quality. The depth. The shared struggles and the genuine care for each other’s success.

They did not just network. They mentored each other. They showed vulnerability while sharing challenges, and offered solutions to strangers who quickly became business associates.

To everyone who took a chance on our experiment (a business blind date), thank you. You proved that when we ask “what can we do?” together, the answer is always more than what we imagined alone.

To everyone reading who hasn’t joined yet, there’s a seat for you. Your skills, challenges, and vision all matter. As we navigate the start of Q4, we imagine your focus is on the final push to hit your year-end goals. But what happens when the data, or rather, the recent reality of events suggests that you should stop?

This is one of the hardest dilemmas any entrepreneur can face, and a difficult thought that came up during our last Sikhulisene conversation. Fortunately, Sidumo Gumbi - a finance expert who participated in the conversation shared with us a reassuring reminder: sustainability is not just about survival. It’s about knowing when to pivot before a business drains your wellbeing.

This isn’t about failure but rather courage and strategic clarity. It’s about having the wisdom to reallocate your most precious resources – your time and energy – towards a new path that has a greater chance of success.
