Following the completion of his studies Mr. Delancy was offered the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Marketing Manager for The Turks & Caicos Islands Tourist Board New York Office from 2007 – 2010, before returning to the TCI in 2010 where he, passionate about making a direct impact on these islands, especially his home island of North Caicos, gained employment on the island of Parrot Cay as the COMO Parrot Cay Assistant Front Office Manager, before being promoted to the post of Guest Service Operations Manager and later to their Private Estate Manager maturing himself into a well-seasoned asset in the Hospitality industry.

Commenting on his appointment Mr. Osbourne Delancy said:

“As quoted at an interview during my high school graduation, “It Feels Great and Excellent” to be awarded this opportunity to serve as the new District Commissioner for the island of Middle Caicos.

With my passion growing more and more to serve my country, I am leaving my hospitality career behind to join the Turks and Caicos Islands to provide a much greater need, as I put my best foot forward to serve the people on the island of Middle Caicos in overseeing local government affairs on that island.

In line with a favorite quote of mine: “Don't Tell Me That the Sky Is the Limit When There's Foot Prints on theMoon”, I believe that the possibilities are endless and will do my best to serve my country well in this new role.”

Deputy Governor and Head of the Public Service Her Excellency Anya Williams in extending congratulatory remarks to Mr. Delancy said:

“It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Mr. Osborne Delancy on his appointment to the post of District Commissioner on the island of Middle Caicos and to welcome him to the Turks and Caicos Islands Public Service.

I hope that he will find his time in the public service to be both productive and personally rewarding and would like to wish him my personal best.

Like him, I believe that there are endless possibilities for the island of Middle Caicos and look forward to seeing the plans he has as DC for the island come to fruition.”

Congratulations Osbourne!”
