The Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) is a not for profit organization dedicated to supporting micro, small and medium enterprises who represent more than 95% of all businesses in the country. The CED has a Board of Directors that comes from across the country and includes a range of business interests. The CED provides a range of services for small business including business advice, c
ounselling and mentoring services, business start-up and operations training, financing advice and support to help access financing. Programs like Junior Achievement is also affiliated with the CED. We are also partnering with private sector stakeholders for the creation of a small business incubator very shortly. As well, the CED will work with the Government on identifying barriers to small business development and collaborate to design and implement useful solutions. The CED has been spearheaded by a Public/Private partnership that includes the Ministry of Finance, Chamber of Commerce and the Bankers Association. The Board of Directors represent the Chamber of Commerce, Invest TCI, the TCI Tourism Association, TCI Community College, Young Corporate Alliance and a Representative from each of the islands. Since its inception the CED has assisted over 200 entrepreneurs across the TCI in various business development and management issues, made more than 420 client contacts, more than 165 hours of training in business start up and management. We have collaborated with various local and regional organizations to assist our clients in achieving their goals.
