? WHERE IS IT GONE... ? Yesterday we got a window of sunshine during all this rain and drove out to the wells. The North water hole had turnt into a lake 😳 with birds and ducks. What used to be dried out land and a mudhole has become a lake (for a little while)

~ OUR 2 NEWEST RESIDENTS ~ I had a bit of a rough day yesterday so I went to see our little donkey families. Just being with them heals my heart. Hope you will come to Salt Cay one day to experience the love and calm they can give you. I love how the mothers with their young ones gather in small herds and guard and protect them ❤️

~ RESCHEDULE ~ the "waiting room" was empty when I got up this morning 😔 the donkeys had opened the latched gate and left... Luckily we were able to reschedule Caroline's flight to next Friday without any extra cost. Now the rain is pouring ☔

~THIS HURTS ~Joy's mom is in pain. She had a split and crooked hoof since she came to my gate in April. She was able to walk but the last few days she is limping and in pain. We are getting pain meds for her but need somebody from Provo to come over to trim her foot. We have a volunteer who can do it but we need to sponsor the flight.
