Siem Reap is destination you should not miss when traveling to S.E.Asia
Not only because of Angkor Wat but also because of the relaxed vibe of the city and the friendly inhabitants.

Siem Reap has a beautiful brandnew l airport and good airline connections with many neighbouring countries. It's a great town and has more to offer than Angkor Wat only. During the Green-season it rains sometimes (like in Europe) but there is also a lot of sunshine, temperature is not too hot and hotelrates are lower. My favorite is Phum Khmer Lodge but I am not the only one as you can read in the enclosed article.

Op 26 oktober 2024 tekenden V. Van Woerkom, namens de Gemeente Amsterdam en René Wildeman, Voorzitter van de Stichting Welkom Amsterdam de Allonge bij het Convenant Haltemanagement Touringcars Amsterdam voor de periode 2025-2028. Martine Crevels, Programma Manager Touringcars en Guido Frankfurther, Directeur van de Stichting Amsterdam, waren hierbij aanwezig.

De Gemeente maakt hiermee gebruik van de kennis en ervaring van de Stichting op het gebied op het gebied van zaken gerelateerd aan zakelijke mobiliteit

De Deense Koning Frederik X heeft het T-shirt voor de Royal Run 2024 die op 2e Pinksterdag plaats vindt, gepresenteerd. Een indrukwekkend gezicht om alle 95.000 lopers ( verdeeld over 5 steden) in hetzelfde shirt te zien lopen. Evenals vorig jaar neem ik weer in Kopenhagen deel 🏃‍♀️

Onze vrijwilligers van de Stichting Welkom Amsterdam bieden de bezoekers aan Amsterdam sinds 2008 een gastvrije ontvangst en helpen hen de weg te vinden op het Stationsplein en Muntplein. Zo verwijzen ze op verzoek naar hotels, restaurants, musea, attracties, winkels en winkelstraten, markten, parke...
