Swiss National Park

The Swiss National Park first opened its doors in 1914 in the Engadiner Valley. Swiss National Park is one of Europe’s oldest natural preserves, located along the Italian border, and (believe it or not!) is Switzerland’s only national park.

Approximately 175 square kilometers of hollows, rapidly flowing river banks, and limestone caves are included within the park’s boundaries.

During the winter, when the forest mountain of this national park is blanketed in snow, it’s even more spectacular. Visitors who enjoy nature will love exploring these huge pathways; nevertheless, they should avoid them to protect the natural environment and habitat.

Covent Garden

Located in the heart of London’s West End, Covent Garden is one of the best places to go for shopping and entertainment in the city.

Alongside chic upmarket boutiques, restaurants and bars you can find some of the biggest names in luxury goods, including Chanel, Dior and Tiffany & Co. as well as much more.

There are many great dining opportunities here with a range of international flavors from the likes of Balthazar, Frenchie and SUSHISAMBA.

You can also check out the Harry Potter Photographic Exhibition on Wellington Street, take a tour of the Royal Opera House or peruse the stalls at the much-loved Apple Market.

You’ll find all you need and more in this shoppers paradise.

London Eye

For some of the best views over the city, there’s only one place you need to go, The London Eye.

This huge observation wheel towers over 130 meters above the city and has views over Waterloo and the entire north bank of the River Thames. On a very clear day, it is said to be possible to see Windsor Castle which is almost 30 miles away.

Many of the city’s best-loved landmarks are visible from “The Eye”, including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament.

It takes around 30 minutes to take the 360-degree trip around the wheel and is the ideal place to grab those stunning travel photos of the city. There’s no wonder this is one of the most popular attractions for first-time visitors to London.

Great Ocean Road

Winding along the south coast of the state of Victoria, the 243 kilometer-long Great Ocean Road is one of the world’s most scenic drives. Completed in 1932, the highway was built by soldiers returning from WWI and is dedicated to those who lost their lives.

Running from the seaside resort town of Torquay near Melbourne to the small and quiet Allansford, the road passes epic limestone sea stacks, secluded coves, and spectacular surf spots. At times, it meanders through pockets of rainforest, fertile winelands, and endless eucalyptus forests, with sleepy seaside towns dotted here and there.

Renowned for its incredible surfing, Bell’s Beach is one of the most popular attractions, along with Great Otway National Park, which is home to lots of spectacular natural beauty. The Twelve Apostles make for a stunning sight: the crumbling sea stacks are constantly pummeled by the rough and treacherous waters of the mighty Southern Ocean.

Coromandel

Situated on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, the Coromandel region is renowned for its beautiful beaches and native bush. It's here you'll find the iconic Cathedral Cove, with a natural rock archway and sandy beaches, and Hot Water Beach, where visitors can dig a natural hot pool in the sand. Other notable activities include visiting Karangahake Gorge, the Pinnacles overnight hike and Whenuakura Wildlife Sanctuary (Donut Island), a pristine, natural environment you can only explore from the water.

The Albula/Bernina Railway Line

One of the very few railway lines in the world designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage listing, the Albula/Bernina line on the Rheatian Railways offers a majestic ride not to be missed. The route extends throughout the Albula and Bernina landscapes, covering 122 kilometers and winding through almost 200 bridges, the Graubünden mountains, and a number of tunnels and viaducts along the way.

A ride on this train means panoramic seats that overlook unspoiled mountain landscapes, including the Piz Bernina, the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps at just over 4,000 meters tall. The train operates all year long, and the views are just as magical in summer as they are in winter.
