Predicting a man’s personality through his shoes
A study conducted by Omri Gillath (sometimes mistakenly written as Ombri) and his colleagues at Kansas State University, published in 2012, revealed an interesting finding: by observing the shoes a person wears most often, people could accurately predict up to 90% of certain personality traits, income level, political views, and even emotional anxiety in relationships.
A man who remains loyal to one familiar style of shoe is often deeply emotional by nature. He does not change easily, nor does he open up quickly. But once he chooses something, he tends to hold onto it for a very long time. In work, in love, and in relationships, he is usually reliable and enduring.
A man who chooses classic dark leather shoes and keeps them well maintained is often someone who values principles. He is composed in the way he presents himself, careful with his words, and rarely allows emotions to influence his decisions. To him, elegance is not about attracting attention, but about making others feel they can trust him.
On the other hand, gentlemen who favor loafers often carry a very different spirit. They understand that elegance does not always need to feel rigid.
