German Speaking Marketing Assistant Needed
A global manufacturer and distributor of electronic accessories is looking for a Marketing Assistant who is fluent in both German and English. The company is headquartered in Westlake Village, California, with global offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China, and with distribution to major retailers world-wide. Hourly Rate: $9.00/hour (estimated 40 hours per week- 8 AM – 5 PM plus seasonal overtime)

Program length: 12-18 months (18 months preferred)
Position Details:
Working under the direction of the Marketplace Manager and the leadership of the Marketing Director, the Marketplace Administrator works behind the scenes as a critical part of the Marketing team to manage, administer, monitor, and enhance thousands of retail advertisements on online e-commerce marketplaces.
The Marketplace Administrator will:
Master the intricacies and rules of each marketplace where advertisements are posted.
Create and administer marketplace product advertisements, enhance them with key-words, compatibility information, vibrant imagery, thorough descriptions, and accurate specifications.
Update, monitor, and measure the success of existing advertisements to improve them when necessary.
Coordinate and roll-out pricing updates at the direction of the Marketing Director.
Coordinate with the Logistics Team to understand which products are discontinued or temporarily on backorder and implement advertisement updated when necessary.
Position Requirements:
Candidates must have excellent English and German communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must be detail oriented, able to multi task, and collaborative in team environment.
Must be willing to develop new ideas, encourage team members, and see projects to their conclusion.
Must have above average computer, Internet, and email skills with 3-4 years experience with Microsoft Excel, MS Outlook (email, scheduling, collaborative task management), and MS Word.
