The Korean‑Thai Chamber of Commerce met with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok on 19 May 2026 to explore opportunities to strengthen and expand cooperation between the two organisations.

Executive members from both chambers exchanged views on enhancing collaboration and strengthening networks with government and private sector stakeholders. Our head of the Korea desk, Susan Park, attended the meeting and joined the discussions. It was a positive step towards deeper cross‑chamber collaboration and stronger regional connectivity. 🤝

On 13–14 May, we were pleased to host the Business Development Accelerator Program in Bangkok, bringing together 11 participants from India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand for two engaging days of learning, collaboration, and exchange.

Led by Rudi Lang, the program combined practical exercises, real-life examples, and open discussions to help participants strengthen their business development mindset and enhance the skills needed to build trusted client relationships. Participants were encouraged to think differently about value creation, identifying opportunities, and delivering long-term impact for clients.

One of the highlights of the program was a session with Rob Hurenkamp, Country Leader of Thailand, who generously shared his personal business development journey and practical insights. His reflections on relationship building, trust, and consistency offered participants an authentic perspective on effective business development in practice.

The program provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen capabilities, exchange experiences, and continue building confidence in business development across the firm.
