เมื่อ ‘เฮนน่า’ ศิลปะที่อาจเลือนหายไปตามกาลเวลา ถูกแต่งแต้มลงบนสมุดและโปสการ์ดเพื่อบันทึกเรื่องราวตลอดไป

ตามธรรมชาติแล้ว “เฮนน่า” บนผิวหนังจะจางหายไปในไม่กี่สัปดาห์ แต่สำหรับกลุ่มผู้หญิงลี้ภัยในเขตเมืองจาก ปากีสถาน และ ศรีลังกา ในโครงการ CHAMALiiN พวกเธอเลือกที่จะไม่ปล่อยให้เรื่องราวและรากเหง้าของตัวเองเลือนหายไปตามกาลเวลา 🎨

พวกเธอเลยเปลี่ยนมาจรดกรวยเฮนน่าลงบน “ปกสมุดบันทึก” และ “โปสการ์ด” แทน เพื่อเปลี่ยนความงามชั่วคราว ให้กลายเป็นความทรงจำที่ถาวร

ทุกๆ ส่วนโค้ง ลายดอกไม้ และเส้นสายเรขาคณิตที่ปรากฏบนปกสมุดแต่ละเล่ม คือสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างอดีตและปัจจุบัน มีความทรงจำและกลิ่นอายของเสียงหัวเราะในงานแต่งงานแบบดั้งเดิมของศรีลังกา บรรยากาศแห่งความสุขในวันฮารีรายอที่ปากีสถาน และในขณะเดียวกัน ก็บันทึกพลังใจอันแข็งแกร่งที่พวกเธอใช้ในการยืนหยัดและสร้างชีวิตใหม่ในเมืองใหญ่ที่พวกเธอต้องใช้ชีวิตอย่างหลบซ่อนและไร้ตัวตน

นี่ไม่ใช่แค่สมุดแฮนด์เมดธรรมดา แต่คือบันทึกการเดินทางที่เต็มไปด้วยศักดิ์ศรี พลังใจ และความหวังของผู้หญิงที่ไม่มีวันยอมแพ้ 💛

CHAMALiiN เป็นมากกว่าการพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพ แต่คือการสร้างความมั่นใจ พื้นที่ปลอดภัย และการสนับสนุนจากผู้หญิงถึงผู้หญิง เพราะผู้หญิงทุกคนควรมีสิทธิ์ใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีศักดิ์ศรี ปลอดภัย และสามารถกำหนดอนาคตของตัวเองได้

Domestic Violence
ไม่ได้เริ่มต้นจากความรุนแรงเพียงอย่างเดียว
แต่หลายครั้งเริ่มต้นจาก “การไม่มีทางเลือก”

เมื่อผู้หญิงไม่มีรายได้ ไม่มีอิสระทางเศรษฐกิจ และไม่มีพื้นที่ปลอดภัยในการตัดสินใจ
ความเงียบจึงกลายเป็นสิ่งที่หลายคนต้องเลือกเพื่อความอยู่รอด

CHAMALiiN จึงทำงานมากกว่าการพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพ
แต่คือการสร้างความมั่นใจ พื้นที่ปลอดภัย และการสนับสนุนจากผู้หญิงถึงผู้หญิง

สถานะผู้ลี้ภัยอาจถูกกำหนดโดยกฎหมายแต่ “ศักยภาพ” คือสิ่งที่ไม่มีสถานะใดจะมาพรากไปจากผู้หญิงได้ 🌏📜
โครงการ CHAMALiiN ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อให้กลุ่มผู้หญิงได้ใช้ทักษะฝีมือเป็นเครื่องมือในการสื่อสารตัวตนของพวกเธอออกมา เราเชื่อเสมอว่าผู้หญิงทุกคนมี “ศักยภาพ" ในตัวเอง
CHAMALiiN มอบโอกาสและพื้นที่ เพื่อให้พวกเธอได้ปลดล็อกความสามารถที่อาจยังไม่มีใครมองเห็น ควบคู่ไปกับการพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพเพื่อสร้างความมั่นคงและความภาคภูมิใจ ให้พวกเธอสามารถยืนหยัดได้ด้วยตัวเอง เพราะเราเชื่อว่าเมื่อผู้หญิงพึ่งพาตัวเองได้ เธอจะไม่ได้เป็นเพียงผู้รอรับความช่วยเหลือ แต่จะเป็นผู้นำในการร่วมสร้างสรรค์สังคมให้ยั่งยืนต่อไป 🧵✨

Today (8 March) is International Women’s Day! 🙌 This is a time to uplift the accomplishments of women and also reflect on their challenges. Refugee women such as the CHAMALiiN artisans are among the most vulnerable populations in the world, and often have less autonomy than their male counterparts. Women seeking refuge in Thailand frequently face a unique set of difficulties such as:
🚩Limited Education Opportunities: Education is a powerful tool for empowerment, but refugee women frequently face limited access to schooling and vocational training, hindering their potential.
🚩Economic Disadvantage: Discrimination in employment opportunities and wage gaps persist, leaving refugee women economically vulnerable and dependent.
🚩Cultural Norms & Restrictions: Traditional gender roles and societal norms can restrict refugee women's freedom, limiting their ability to make choices about their lives and futures.
Social impact initiatives like CHAMALiiN empower refugee women to gain access to income on their own terms, allowing them to raise children while gaining a degree of economic stability and freedom that can otherwise be difficult to come by.
