Metaphysiks, a Switzerland-based immersive technology company that combines world leading neuroscience and robotics to create multisensory experiences has raised its funding of $2 million led by TNF (The New Frontiers) Investments and joined by prominent investors such as Logitech, Tej Tadi (founder of Swiss multi-unicorn Mindmaze), and All Here SA.

With its goal to bring physical and emotional engagement into the Metaverse, the funds will be used for the transformation and commercialisation of the company’s neuro-haptic skin that allows users to have their sensations, emotions and cognition in the Metaverse.

Metaphysiks is well-known for its core technology and intellectual property, MetaTouch, which connects the nervous system via the surface of the skin using neuroscience-based thermo-variant & haptic-tactile products to enrich conscious experiences integrated with digital environments.

TNF Venture Partner, Samir Khosla, was also appointed to the company’s board of directors on this round of funding. Khosla aims to support Metaphysiks’ team to expand its intellectual property for better experiences in healthcare, e-sports, life sciences, digital workplaces, and entertainment.

Binance’s venture capital and incubation arm namely “Binance Lab” has recently closed a $500 million fundraising from DST Global, Breyer Capital and others. Funding from this round will be used mainly in Web3 and blockchain technology across DeFi, NFTs, gaming, Metaverse, social, and more.

By having this fund, Binance Lab will make investment in companies whether they are in incubation, early-stage or late-stage as follows:
Incubation: Binance includes projects in its incubation programme and helps them grow;
Early-stage: These comprise token and equity investments in sectors like De-Fi, NFTs, metaverse, blockchain and crypto; and
Late-stage: Binance also invests in mature companies looking to increase the adoption of Web3 and blockchain.

Arrival, an electronic vehicle (EV) company from the United Kingdom which became public last year, announced last year about its goal to become an affordable EV manufacturer, also competitively priced with petrol cars. The company plans to produce their product in small factories and decentralize in order to lower the cost and attract a specific market.

Edtech startup ‘Classplus’ has raised 70 million dollars in the latest round of funding, having ‘Teachmint’ as the important competitor to Classplus. Certainly, Classplus just raised the latest round of capital that happened only 8 months after its previous fundraising in June which has gained approximately 65 million dollars. This funding round will elevate Classplus valuation to roughly 600 million dollars. This round was co-led by Alpha Wave Global and Tiger Global. As a part of this latest funding round, ‘Chimera Ventures’, Abu Dhabi-based company, also joined in as a new investor, along with the existing backer RTP Global that has participated in the financing as well.

Mentioning the beginning of this company, Classplus had been established in 2018 by Mukul Rustagi and Bhaswat Agarwal. Classplus basically is a software platform which advocates educators and content creators in launching their online presence and also selling their courses. Classplus claims that it has been trusted by several educators with numerous students from kindergarten to grade 12, plus with the exam prep categories. Moreover, Classplus also provides additional courses such as fitness, lifestyle, financing, and languages.

The company stated that up to 75% of educator users are from Tier 2 Indian cities, which consist of more than 100,000 users of educators and content creators from 3,000 cities in India. Also, the company announced that it will expand the business to Southeast Asian countries like Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Singapore-based mental wellness startup that operates throughout APAC ‘MindFi’ had closed and announced its oversubscribed funding seed round at over 2 million dollars. Basically, application ‘MindFi’ is a self-directed mental health wellness program, community forums and even group therapy. The app is operated through AI by matching coaches and therapists to users’ profiles. All information, such as sleep, heart rate, and daily activity, will be gathered through users’ fitness wearables.

Currently, most mental wellness startups in the United States gain a lot of funding for development that will generate changes. Lee also told Techcrunch that this seed funding will be used for AI development, psychological data integration, and even for collaboration with local experts that the programs must also be culturally-fit. Crypto Trading Startup Mudrex
‘Mudrex’ แพลตฟอร์มการลงทุนคริปโต ระดมทุนจากนักลงทุนได้ 6.5 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯในการระดมทุนรอบ pre-series A ด้วยการสนับสนุนจาก startup accelerator อย่าง Y Combinator Mudrex ได้รับเงินทุนใหม่จากบริษัท Akram Ventures, Tribe Capital และ Bolt by QED การระดมทุนครั้งใหม่ครั้งนี้ เกิดขึ้นภายหลังการระดมทุนรอบ Seed จำนวน 2.5 ล้านดอลลาร์เมื่อ 4 เดือนที่แล้ว โดยในรอบการลงทุนนั้นนำโดย Nexus Venture Partners และ Village Global ร่วมกับ Anand Chandrashekharan, Kunal Shah และ Anjali Bansal.

‘Mudrex’, a crypto trading platform startup has raised 6.5 million dollars from investors in the pre-series A funding round. Backed by ‘Y Combinator’, this crypto trading platform received funding from Akram Ventures, Tribe Capital, and Bolt by QED. This latest funding round was raised after a seed funding round which happened 4 months ago, led by Nexus Venture Partners and Village Global, along with Anand Chandrashekharan, Kunal Shah, and Anjali Bansal.

Since the previous funding round, Mudrex had a growth rate of up to 450%. Currently, there are more than 100,000 users from 100 countries registering into this platform. Mudrex will use the funding from this latest round to expand its user base and expects to boost the platform's growth in the future.

Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of Mudrex, stated that the funding will help the company to simplify the process of investing for retail investors, by hoping that Mudrex will, in the future, be the largest crypto trading platform. Apart from this, Rahul Chandra, Akram Ventures’ managing director, also said that the crypto asset management industry is seemingly possible to grow to 12.5 billion dollars by 2025, plus saying that it will be a pleasure for his company to collaborate with Mudrex in order to expand crypto ownership and wealth creation.

In the past few years, the global crypto trading market had a major growth by having at least 50 million retail investors. Mudrex also plans to launch products similar to Mutual Fund and ETFs for crypto as well.

Netflix’s new Riot Games

บริการสตรีมมิ่ง Netflix กำลังขยายรายการเกมอีกครั้งด้วยการเปิดตัวไลน์อัพเกมส์อีกสองตัวใหม่คือ ‘Hextech Mayhem’ ของRiot Games ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องราวของ League of Legends สามารถชื้อได้ผ่านแพลตฟอร์มเกมและตลาดซื้อขายอื่นๆรวมถึง Nintendo Switch, Steam, Epic Games Store และ GOG .comโดยจัดจำหน่ายเพียง 9.99 ดอลล่าร์สหรัฐ อีกเกมส์ที่เปิดตัวนั้นคือ ‘Dungeon Dwarves’ ชึ่งพัฒนาโดยบริษัทชาวแคนาดา ‘Hyper Hippo’ ที่ก่อตั้งโดย Lance Priebe ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Club Penguin

Streaming platform ‘Netflix’ is recently expanding its gaming business by launching two more of the Riot Games, firstly the ‘Hextech Mayhem’, deriving a story from the League of Legends. This ‘Hextech Mayhem’ can be purchased through various gaming platforms such as Nintendo Switch, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com at only $9.99. The other game is ‘Dungeon Dwarves’ which was developed by a Canadian developer ‘Hyper Hippo’, a company founded by Club Penguin co-founder Lance Priebe.

Netflix informed that ‘Hextech Mayhem’ had already launched through test markets in Poland, Italy, Spain, and Brazil, and is currently launching for global users, noted that this will be the first major gaming franchise from Netflix. However, ‘Arcannium: Rise of Akhan’ was also another previous Netflix’s first premium game that was already sold. Another game ‘Dungeon Dwarves’ is now also available for only Netflix users. The users can download through IOS and Android which the game will require users to authenticate their Netflix account after the installation.

Actually, Netflix had already developed a gaming service since last year through leveraging partnerships with Frosty Pop, Rogue Games, and BonusXP as their developers. The company also explained to its investors about this recent Q4 period that it provides them to truly understand what the consumers want from their gaming service. By launching all these titles, Netflix will be able to develop and grow more in the gaming market in the future.
