Srithai Superware Public Company Limited was founded in 1963 by Mr.Sumitr Lertsumitrkul. At the earlier stage it was just a family business called "Srithai Plastic Industry Limited Partnership" mainly manufacturing household utensils e.g. basin, bucket and toy etc. Later, it extended its business to manufacture plastic products for industrial purpose including melamine products under the brand Superware with Penguin Picture. Its products have become widely known and acknowledged as to their quality domestically and internationally in more than 100 countries e.g. US, UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, India and countries in the Middle East.
For the past 51 years, the Company's business has continually grown until it has become a public company listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1991 with its authorized capital of 2,709 million baht.
