Ushguli Georgia 🇬🇪
Ushguli is a small settlement on the banks of the Patara Enguri River in the Upper Svaneti region in the Enguri Valley in the Caucasus Mountains in northern Georgia. It is about 2,100 meters above the Shkhara Mountains, making it the highest settlement in Europe.
Ushguli was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List under the name Upper Svaneti in 1996, making it the highest settlement in Europe.

In addition to the old houses that are worth visiting, the location of this village is also one of the most beautiful spots in Georgia. The village is surrounded by a high mountain range. If you visit that place, you will feel like you are just a small ant. In summer, it is beautiful with green fields, with small flowers scattered everywhere. In winter, you can only see snow, as beautiful as a fairy tale land. When you look to the northeast along the valley, you will see a larger mountain range, covered with snow all year round. Climbers often come to trek to the top of the mountain in summer.
