(MILIN Condominium Rayong)
Panoramic Views:
(Active & Passive Well-being)
(Seamless Connection):
25-Meter Lap Pool:
(Sustainable Coastal Ecology)
(Low Maintenance)
(Eco-Conscious Infrastructure)
Landscape Design Concept, MILIN Condominium Rayong
The core landscape design philosophy for MILIN Condominium is centered around "The Urban Pulse: A Harmony of Modern Living and Coastal Nature." It translates the clean, rhythmic lines of the modern architectural boxes (Modern Box Rhythm) into the outdoor environment, creating a perfect equilibrium between urban functionality and serene relaxation. The 4 main ideas are
1. Strategic Spatial Planning: The Green Heart
The master plan adopts a courtyard-centric layout, positioning the buildings around a "Central Oasis" to enhance the residents' quality of life:
Panoramic Views: Every residential unit is designed to overlook the lush greenery and the central pool, providing a visual escape from the urban density.
Pedestrian-First Experience: The circulation paths are intentionally routed through the green spaces. Whether arriving home or heading to the parking area, residents interact with nature, reducing daily stress and fostering a sense of refreshment.
Social Interaction Pockets: Seating "pockets" are strategically tucked within the gardens to encourage spontaneous social encounters and build a strong sense of community.
2. Active & Passive Well-being
The landscape functions as a seamless extension of the interior amenities, promoting a healthy lifestyle:
The Active Loop: A shaded Jogging Track circles the central garden, protected by a dense canopy of large trees for all-day usability. The track features EPDM rubber flooring to provide superior shock absorption and minimize exercise-related injuries.
25-Meter Lap Pool: A standard salt-system lap pool serves as the centerpiece, catering to both serious swimmers and those looking for aquatic relaxation.
Integrated Lifestyle: The green space directly connects with the Clubhouse, Gym, and Co-working Space, allowing indoor activities to be inspired by the surrounding natural beauty.
3. Sustainable Coastal Ecology
Landscape elements are curated to harmonize with Rayong's specific coastal climate for long-term sustainability:
Native & Coastal Plant Palette: Selection of indigenous and coastal plant species that are highly resilient to intense sunlight and salty air, ensuring they remain vibrant with low maintenance.
Air-Purifying Forest: A focus on air-purifying foliage creates a natural "lung" for the project, aligning with the architectural intent of providing a healthy living environment.
Biophilic Design: Tiered planting strategies are used to increase foliage density, which naturally lowers the surrounding temperature and provides an additional layer of privacy for ground-floor units.
4. Eco-Conscious Infrastructure
Sustainable engineering is integrated into the aesthetic landscape design:
Permeable Surfaces: Parking areas utilize permeable concrete blocks to reduce heat island effects and allow rainwater to naturally infiltrate the soil.
Water Detention Area: Specific garden zones are designed to function as water detention areas during heavy rainfall, managing runoff within the site before it is gradually released into the public system, thus preventing localized flooding.
