It is now confirmed that travelers arriving in Thailand are receiving 30-day visa-exempt entry stamps, with the change taking effect from midnight today.

Please plan your stay accordingly.

As a reminder, we offer door-to-door 30-day extension services in Bangkok for 5,000 THB, allowing you to complete your first extension without needing to leave your residence.

If you have enough time to apply for a 60-day Tourist eVisa before traveling, this is generally the better option if you intend to stay in Thailand for longer than 60 days.

Thailand's 60-day visa exemption is ending. New rules take effect September 15, with most qualifying travelers limited to 30 days plus a possible 30-day extension. Country eligibility has also changed.

🚨 BIG DTV CHANGE FROM AUGUST 31

This has now been publicly announced by multiple Thai embassies, including:

- Royal Thai Embassy, Vientiane
- Royal Thai Embassy, London
- Royal Thai Embassy, Dhaka

From August 31, DTV applicants will generally only be able to apply in a country where they are a citizen or permanent resident, and a police clearance certificate will also become mandatory.

The Thai eVisa system is also going offline for a full system upgrade on August 30, just one day before these rules begin, so the timing is very likely related.
