Many of you already know we create an underground level with precisely positioned horizontal windows. Here’s how we keep it 100% humidity-proof, without energy-hungry machines.
Once the 14 cm thick reinforced brick walls are complete, we apply a waterproof cement render and then fully cover them with high-performance bitumen waterproofing sheets. This double barrier guarantees zero moisture ingress from outside. Meanwhile, the calculated cross-ventilation inside the chamber circulates air constantly — keeping the space naturally dry, fresh, and cool all year round.
2. French drain system 💧 the silent guardian of your garden and soil.
Around the entire villa, we install a perforated PU pipe wrapped in a filter membrane to keep debris out. It sits in a bed of crushed stone and connects to a proper drainage outlet. This French drain collects excess rainwater, stabilises the soil, and prevents waterlogging, especially critical during the heavy rainy season. Combined with fully integrated roof gutters, we manage water aggressively before it even thinks about causing issues.
