A big thank-you for an incredible turn out at our GranMonte X Kwann: The Pairing Playground event this past Friday! We turned the night into a friendly fight between four of Thailand's top young sommeliers to make this a unique and unforgettable wine dinner 🥂

Guests were met with the sommelier line-up of Khun Bom Jirayu Keeratiyutamornkul, Khun Max Suppawat Teeta of ETCHA, Khun Art Phatrachot Dechapok of Baan Tepa Culinary Space, and Khun Mhuek Tanapong Vongsuwan of Cannubi by Umberto Bombana. Each sommelier interpreted Chef Bom Piyapong Ming-ngam and Chef Joe's menu through their own pairing philosophy to make surprising and delightful matches.

We at GranMonte are truly grateful and proud that we could work and play with the creative Kwann Restaurant's team, the four talented sommeliers leading Thailand's ever-growing wine scene, and the diners who brought their joyful and high energy on the night!

The group made a stop at GranMonte to tour the vineyard, learn about our family-run Thai wine business and meet with GranMonte founders and fellow Sasin alumni ❤🍷 We are thankful to our alma mater for connecting us with new generations of entrepreneurs embarking on exciting journeys in Thailand's many industries.

We at GranMonte were truly honoured to be a part of EHL's latest journey for hospitality professionals, alumni, and students from around the world. Their trip to Bangkok was part of the four-day celebration marking 100 Years of EHL Alumni Network - AEHL.

Organised by Extrovert Consulting in collaboration with Bangkok Foodies, the “Before Service” Behind the Scenes Michelin Guide Culinary Tour brought guests through some of Bangkok’s most exciting culinary destinations, including GranMonte's friends at Electric Sheep, VIVIN Thailand, Inddee and GOAT Bangkok ✨

The four days of meeting chefs and teams before service, discovering kitchens, and sharing unforgettable meals and conversations together--accompanied by our 100% Thai méthode traditionnelle Crémant, proudly made in Khao Yai--was an unforgettable experience.
