AIT Extension Strengthens Thailand-Africa Knowledge Exchange through RAAMP Nigeria Capacity Building Program
AIT Extension successfully concluded the Capacity Building Program on “Rural Road Systems, Asset Management, and Agro-Logistics” for senior officials from Nigeria’s Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), held in AIT, Thailand from 7 to 13 June 2026.
The program brought together senior engineers, government officials, and development project professionals for an intensive learning program focusing on rural road systems, road asset management, maintenance practices, agro-logistics, market connectivity, and institutional coordination.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in technical sessions, institutional discussions, field observations, and reflection exercises designed to connect Thailand’s practical experiences with Nigeria’s rural access and agricultural marketing priorities.
AIT Extension sincerely thanks the International Labour Organization (ILO), RAAMP, the Government of Nigeria, the World Bank, and all participating officials for their active engagement, professional exchange, and warm collaboration throughout the program.
Building on this successful engagement, AIT Extension remains committed to supporting governments, development partners, and project institutions across Africa through customized capacity-building programs, study visits, and professional learning initiatives in rural infrastructure, public sector management, agricultural development, logistics, and sustainable development.
We look forward to continued cooperation in strengthening rural infrastructure, market access, and development outcomes.
