12 years ago we turned photo 1 (a make shift school area in a fishing port shanty town) into photo 2.

A safe house and school for hundreds of children in severely impoverished and unsafe conditions, in dire need of help.

The underprivileged Burmese migrant children of Phuket.

I quit my job and devoted 2 years of my life to turn this project into a reality, the whole time working pro-bono (I taught myself how to make basic websites in the evenings to cover my rent).

An amazing group of people saw my work and the finished building and asked if I could continue this work with their support in other areas of the world.

Things progressed; 12 years and well over 40 projects later and over 250,000 people reached and helped out of often terrible and terrifying situations around the world.

Working to help victims of the s*x trade, empowering girls and educating in areas where school was never a thing.

Over the years more people have helped to support my work, but it all started with the people who took a punt on me over a decade ago.

Here’s to the next 12 years!

7 years into our Girls Empowerment Program.

It keeps going from strength to strength, reaching evey municipality of Nepal.

Everything from self defence to menstrual education to career advancement and safety at home. Reaching over 20,000 girls nationwide.

The reach grows even bigger with our fortnightly national TV show dealing with woman’s rights and female empowerment watched by over 100,000 often densely populated households.

I’m so so proud of every single person in this program

Not bad for a program that started as a trial with less than 40 girls!

We built and opened this school in Varin Cambodia in 2021.

We hoped that along with educating the 83 kids in a safe and happy environment that the building might attract more students…

Within a year we were at 131 kids and it continues to grow and grow.

So cool to see our work pan out as expected and beyond.

12 years ago 5am.

Myself and 6 great friends became the first and only people to paddle board the entire way around the island of Phuket in Thailand, 150km.

Literally everyone we spoke to in the lead up said it was impossible due to the dangerous currents and it just couldn't be done.

It took us 4 days at sea and 3 nights sleeping on deserted small islands.

We did it to raise a little money to help the Burmese migrant kids of the area. That eventually turned in to building a large school and safe house for hundreds of Burmese migrant kids.

That led to me being noticed and offered a shot at a career helping people all over the world.

12 years later, 45 projects, well over 200,000 people helped with so much more to come.

It's taken me to all 7 continents and introduced me to some truly amazing people and adventures along the way and I couldn't be prouder of everyone we work for and all we have achieved.

If we'd listened to the naysayers none of the last decade would have happened.

Nutrition Program Nepal.

It's so cool to see this 4 year project play out. The first 2 years we were feeding over 2000 children a midday meal every day at school, which dramatically increased attendance' and grades, keeping kids full and happy and healthy for study and play.

During that period we also set up school gardens and vegetable patches and nutrition advice centres, along with health checks for babies, young mums and pregnant women to see what nutrients they may be lacking.

Currently in the 3rd year and operating in a new area starting again with the new midday meals for thousands more kids.

The beauty of it all, is that in the 1st area, the gardens are now blooming and the vegetables are flowing, meaning the schools can feed their kids and the parents feed their families resulting in a dramatic decrease in need for outside aid.

That's the plan for the new area too.
