Its the first time we use this inverter from Sigenergy. Its made for non-battery systems, but can connect batteries later without changing the inverter! So its a great option for those that want to start with a bit smaller investment, but still have the option for batteries later.
The panels are SaloTech. I think I can call them a partner at this point. Its a Finnish-Thai manufacturer with a factory in Rayong. I know the CEO quite well now, and I can say I really think he is doing great work and producing the best quality panels with amazing local warranty. So I would expect more of our customers to select this brand in the future, and the premium compared to other panels is not much.
On this installation we had to improve the electrical quite a bit. The breaker panel was a big mess, so we cleaned that up. And the grounding was very bad, so we made new grounding with proper cable and of course we tested that the resistance was low after.
We also fixed some main cable problems the client had, so overall quite a bit of extra work. But we are happy to fix things like this as long as the client understands and supports us, and in this case he does. So all in all, a great collaboration with the client and a great overall result.
