ขอขอบคุณผู้บริหารทุกระดับ ผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องและบุคลากรทุกท่าน ที่มีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินงานและการขับเคลื่อน ม.หาดใหญ่ ทั้งในด้านวิชาการ การวิจัย การบริการวิชาการ และการทำนุบำรุง ศิลปวัฒนธรรม มีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ส่งผลให้ได้รับผลการประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษาภายใน ระดับสถาบัน 4.51 ระดับ "ดีมาก"
ซึ่งจะเป็นฐานที่สำคัญในการพัฒนาตามแนวทางการพลิกโฉมมหาวิทยาลัย (Reinventing University) และเกณฑ์มาตรฐานระดับนานาชาติ (EdPEx , AUN QA) รวมทั้งการจัดงานแถลงข่าว "ทิศทางของ ม.หาดใหญ่ ในการขับเคลื่อนการศึกษา สังคม และนวัตกรรม" ทำให้ ม.หาดใหญ่ ได้เป็นที่ยอมรับจากสาธารณชนอย่างภาคภูมิ
