Ton Sak Yai Forest (Giant Teak Tree) National Park @ Uttaradit, Thailand
Famous for its large teak tree which considered as the largest teak tree in the world. The tree, estimated to be more than 1,500 years old, is 37 meters high and has a circumference of 9.58 meters at its base. It would need around 8 peoples to hugged it.
The drive passes through deciduous dipterocarp forest and teak forest, where the leaves change into beautiful colors during the winter months. You are welcome to stop anywhere around the road. It's such a great photo opportunity. A two-kilometer trekking route allows visitors to explore the forest firsthand.
