Le journal anglais « The Economist » a publié un article sur son site sacrant la Tunisie comme le pays de l’année.

Dans cet article, le journal rappelle que l’année 2014 a été une année difficile émaillée de guerres, de conflits et de maladies. Le journal explique également que même la notion de pays et de frontières a été mise à mal en prenant pour exemple le cas de Daesh, du conflit russo-turc ou encore du groupe Boko Haram au Nigéria.

Le journal a sélectionné deux pays pour leur attribuer le titre de pays de l’année : l’Indonésie et la Tunisie. L’article rappelle que « l’idéalisme engendré par le printemps arabe a généralement fini de façon sanguinaire à part une brillante exception ».

Le journaliste conclut : « Le pragmatisme et la modération de la Tunisie ont nourri l’espoir dans une zone de misère et un monde troublé. Mabrouk, Tunisia ! ».

MEDIBAT, 1er salon du bâtiment et de la construction du continent africain, tiendra sa 12e édition à Sfax, Tunisie du 6 au 9 mars 2013 prochain. En 2011 c'est plus de 400 exposants répartir sur + 30 000 M2 d'exposition et 53 800 visiteurs professionnels de plus de 31 pays – ont scellé des accords lors des rencontres B2B à MEDIBAT 2011. – 96 % des exposants renouvelleront leur participation au salon en 2013.
