GENERAL
Various displays are used to present Flight Management and Guidance System (FMGS) data and information. The main displays presenting
flight management and guidance information are:
– the MCDUs (display part),
– the FCU (display Part),
– the PFDs,
– the NDs,
– the ECAM/EWD and ECAM STATUS pages.

MCDU
The MCDUs display all data related to the management part.
Example: Identification of the successive waypoints of the flight plan.

FCU
The FCU is also considered as a display as it includes indication lights and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) windows.
The FCU includes:
– lights giving mode indications,
– LCD windows showing reference parameters.
Example: During a climb with AP, the altitude window displays the altitude the aircraft is going to capture.

PFD
The PFDs mainly display the FD symbols and the status of guidance functions and their modes. They also display reference parameters.
Example: The target speed value is represented by a symbol on the speed scale of the PFD.

ND
The NDs mainly display the flight plan and various navigation data.
Example: Airports or waypoints around the present position of the aircraft.

ECAM
The ECAM/EWD page presents warning messages related to the function or computer failures. The ECAM STATUS page displays the landing capabilities.

The control surface on the tail
As with the wing shapes, aircraft tails are inspired by different types of bird tails.

The main function of the horizontal tail empennage is to stabilise the aircraft creating opposite forces which provide lift. It’s also essential to control the pitch axis of the aeroplane.

All aircraft tail types in charge of these functions and each one of them provides characteristics and benefits adapted to the type of flight they were built for.

A unique technology!

Zefhir is the first helicopter in the world to be fitted with an innovative ballistic parachute rescue system.

Installed above the main rotor, the parachute is designed as a backup for conditions where autorotation cannot be performed, such as:

flight control failure or loss of maneuverability;
flying over an area where emergency landing cannot be performed safely;
flight conditions that prevent restoring rotor rotation speed.
The system was successfully tested for the first time in aviation history at Oristano-Fenosu Airport in June 2018.

An unexploded U.S. bomb from World War II suddenly detonated at Miyazaki Airport in southwestern Japan on Wednesday!
causing a large crater in a taxiway and the cancellation of more than 80 flights but no injuries, Japanese officials said.

Land and Transport Ministry officials said there were no aircraft nearby when the bomb exploded at Miyazaki Airport in southwestern Japan.
Officials said an investigation by the Self-Defence Forces and police confirmed that the explosion was caused by a 500-pound US bomb and there was no further danger. They were determining what caused its sudden detonation.🧐🧐🧐

A video recorded by a nearby aviation school showed the blast spewing pieces of asphalt into the air like a fountain. Videos broadcast on Japanese television showed a crater in the taxiway reportedly about 7 meters in diameter and 3 feet deep.
