The Palestinian Working Woman Society for Development (PWWSD), established in 1981, is a Palestinian women’s, mass, developmental, learning human rights organization that contributes to developing the feminist struggle within national, social, and developmental dimensions. The organization believes that liberating women is connected directly with ending the occupation and establishing a full Palestinian democratic sovereign civil state. PWWSD is a reference for women and all those individuals or institutions interested in women’s issues. PWWSD is active all over West Bank and Gaza Strip and an active member in several local, regional, and global networks and coalitions, such as the Palestinian NGO Network, the Arab Women Network (Aisha), the International Union for Workers Education.

As fast food restaurants are everywhere, families and communities are leaving their traditional, often healthy, dietary patterns and adopting modern dietary patterns that are usually full of ready-to-eat foods with a high content of saturated fats, sugar and sodium, It lacks essential nutrients and fiber.

By 2050, 70 percent of adolescents will live in cities, where they will be more likely than ever to market unhealthy foods and diet-related diseases.

An increasing number of women are entering the labor market, accounting for up to 40 percent of the world's formal labor force. Yet almost everywhere, mothers remain responsible for most of the requirements for feeding and caring for children. They often receive very little support from their families, employers and the community at large. This leaves many mothers facing an impossible choice between feeding their children well or earning a steady income.

When we look at the food environment, in other words, all the factors that affect the family's food choices - from what is available in the region, to the amount of money the household has, and what food is accessible or familiar - we see that dietary patterns are far from Than just a personal preference.

Les mères palestiniennes sont sans cesse inquiètes quand leurs enfants, en particulier leurs garçons, ne sont pas à la maison.

La police israélienne impose également parfois des assignations à résidence aux enfants palestiniens.

Les mères sont alors obligées de devenir des gardiennes de prison pour leurs propres enfants.
