كور إسطنبول تشارك في اجتماع رفيع المستوى بحضور السيد أنطونيو غوتيريش الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة..

شاركت مؤسسة كور إسطنبول، بدعوة خاصة من المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR Türkiye)، في اجتماع رفيع المستوى بحضور الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة السيد أنطونيو غوتيريش، في لقاء يعكس أهمية العمل المشترك لمواجهة التحديات الإنسانية وتعزيز الاستجابة العالمية.

خلال اللقاء، استعرضت كور إسطنبول تجربتها الميدانية الممتدة على مدار السنوات الخمس الماضية، وجهودها في تمكين اللاجئين اقتصاديًا، وتعزيز ريادة الأعمال، وتوفير فرص الوصول إلى المهارات ومصادر الدخل المستدام.

كما تم تسليط الضوء على أبرز الاحتياجات المتجددة للمجتمعات اللاجئة، وأهمية تطوير نماذج عمل مستدامة وقابلة للتوسع، يقودها اللاجئون أنفسهم، إلى جانب التأكيد على الدور المحوري للشراكات الفعالة بين الجهات المحلية، والمنظمات الدولية، والجهات المانحة.

وتؤكد مؤسسة كور إسطنبول أن مشاركتها في هذا اللقاء تمثل امتدادًا لنهجها القائم على الحلول ذات الأثر المستدام، وتعكس الثقة المتزايدة بدور المؤسسات العاملة على الأرض في إحداث تغيير حقيقي.



Core Istanbul Participates in a High-Level Meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres

Core Istanbul participated in a high-level meeting, upon a special invitation from UNHCR Türkiye, attended by the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. António Guterres. The meeting reflected the importance of collective action in addressing humanitarian challenges and strengthening the global response.

During the meeting, Core Istanbul presented its field experience over the past five years, highlighting its efforts in economically empowering refugees, fostering entrepreneurship, and providing access to skills development and sustainable income opportunities.

The discussion also shed light on the evolving needs of refugee communities and emphasized the importance of developing sustainable and scalable models led by refugees themselves. It further underscored the critical role of effective partnerships between local actors, international organizations, and donors.

Core Istanbul affirms that its participation in this meeting is an extension of its approach centered on sustainable, impact-driven solutions, and reflects the growing trust in the role of grassroots organizations in creating real change.
