Our CMO attended , held on Tuesday at the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus. The Netherlands and Finland were the strategic partner countries of this year’s organisation.

The high level of participation was encouraging! Regenerated fibers and textile-to-textile recycling were at the centre of the programme, and we were pleased to catch up on the latest technologies and innovations being introduced across the industry.

Sarah Vollmer, Senior Climate & Circularity Manager at our customer was on stage as well, and it was a pleasure catching up with her afterwards.

We also spotted new players in regenerated fibre production in Turkey, which gives us hope that sustainable material innovation and local capacity are continuing to expand.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a distinguished group of guests and partners for a day of inspiring conversations and collaboration.

SaxCell CMO Suleyman Kocasert Speaks at exCITE Symposium 2024 ♻️💡

Our CMO, Suleyman Kocasert, had the opportunity to speak at the exCITE Symposium. Held at the Innovation & Learning Center in Aachen, Germany, the symposium brought together leading voices from the sustainability and circular economy space.

During the “Innovators Panel” session, Suleyman shared SaxCell’s journey from startup to scale-up, highlighting our commitment to driving sustainable practices in the textile industry. He discussed the challenges and successes we’ve encountered as we work to revolutionize the sector by turning used cotton textiles into high-quality regenerated fibers.

Suleyman emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving meaningful results, thanking key partners like Saxion University, whose ongoing support has been vital in helping SaxCell grow and make a positive impact.

The exCITE Symposium provided a great platform for exchanging insights and ideas on how to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable, circular economy. SaxCell is excited to continue pushing boundaries, developing innovative technologies, and working closely with partners to further enhance our processes and contribute to a greener future.
