Avrupa Birliği tarafından desteklenen CLIMAAX kapsamında; Marmara Belediyeler Birliği, Çukurova Üniversitesi ve IDEMA iş birliğiyle Güney Marmara Havzası’ndaki tarımsal kuraklık riskini yerel ölçekte değerlendirdik.

AGROSHIELD Projesi’nin ilk fazında İznik, Gemlik, Karamürsel ve Gönen’de; iklim tehlikesi, maruziyet, kırılganlık ve uyum kapasitesini CLIMAAX metodolojisiyle birlikte ele aldık. Yağış, sıcaklık, toprak nemi, ürün deseni ve sulama altyapısı gibi verileri analiz ederek riskin yoğunlaştığı alanları ve öncelikli uyum ihtiyaçlarını ortaya koyduk.

Hazırlanan çalışma, yerel yönetimlerin kullanabileceği risk haritalarına ve uygulanabilir uyum adımlarına temel oluşturuyor. 🌱📊

Day 4 at the Zero Waste Hub brought the focus to one of the defining moments on the global climate agenda: the Road to COP31 Antalya.🍀

The day began with an interactive breakfast session exploring what COP31 means for the private sector, highlighting the importance of active engagement, climate governance, transition planning and the opportunities for businesses to contribute to meaningful climate action. The discussion made one thing clear: preparing for COP31 starts long before delegates arrive in Antalya, it begins with the decisions organisations make today.

In the afternoon, the conversation turned to another vital enabler of climate action: philanthropy. Bringing together leaders from foundations, civil society and international organisations, the panel explored how philanthropic investment and cross-sector partnerships can strengthen climate resilience, empower local initiatives and accelerate impact ahead of COP31.

Across both sessions, a common message emerged: delivering climate action at scale requires more than ambition. It demands collaboration, strategic investment and a shared commitment from governments, businesses, civil society and philanthropy alike.

The journey to COP31 is already underway, and the partnerships being built today will help define tomorrow’s climate solutions.

Day 3 at the Zero Waste Hub focused on one of the most important questions of our time: how do we turn climate ambition into practical, scalable solutions? 🍀

Bringing together entrepreneurs, innovators and technology leaders, the Climate Tech Pioneers: From Vision to Action panel explored how innovation is accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable future. The discussion highlighted that climate technology is not only about groundbreaking ideas, it is about developing solutions that can be implemented, adopted and scaled to create measurable impact.

From clean technologies and circular business models to the role of entrepreneurship in driving systemic change, the conversation reinforced that innovation thrives when vision is matched with collaboration and action.

As with all sessions throughout the Zero Waste Hub, today’s panel was recorded as a videocast and will soon be available online. By sharing these conversations beyond the event, we aim to make valuable insights accessible to a wider audience, fostering continued learning, inspiring innovation and strengthening the global sustainability community.

As we continue the Road to COP31 Antalya, Day 3 reminded us that the future of sustainability depends not only on bold ideas, but on the people and partnerships capable of turning those ideas into action.

Day 2 at the Zero Waste Hub challenged us to rethink what we consider “waste” and to recognise the untapped value that exists within our communities, food systems and cities.🍀

Through inspiring sessions from Project 2nd Chance, Waste to Wonder and Square Mile Farms, we explored how surplus resources can be transformed into opportunities for education, rehabilitation, skills development, urban food growing and social impact.

A recurring message throughout the day was that circularity is about much more than materials. It is about creating systems that unlock potential, reduce inequality and generate lasting value for people, communities and the environment.

To ensure these conversations continue beyond London Climate Action Week, today’s sessions were recorded as videocasts and will soon be made available online. Sharing knowledge is an essential part of sustainability, allowing ideas, experiences and solutions to reach wider audiences, inspire new collaborations and create impact far beyond the walls of a single event.

As we continue the Road to COP31 Antalya, Day 2 reminded us that some of the most powerful solutions emerge when we learn to see opportunity where others see waste.

IDEMA olarak danışmanlığını yürüttüğümüz Enerjisa Daha İyi Bir Gelecek Platformu’nun kurumsallaşma yolculuğunda önemli bir adımı geride bıraktık.

7–8 Nisan’da Ankara’da gerçekleştirdiğimiz paydaş buluşmalarında 9 değerli kurumla bir araya geldik.

Bu görüşmelerde, platformun bugüne kadar hayata geçirdiği etki odaklı çalışmaları paylaşırken; dernekleşme vizyonumuzu ve gelecekteki iş birliği fırsatlarını birlikte değerlendirdik.

Daha İyi Bir Gelecek Platformu olarak Enerji Verimliliği Haftası kapsamındaki çevrimiçi etkinliğe konuk olduk.

Enerjisa ve IDEMA iş birliğiyle hayata geçirdiğimiz platformumuzla, Enerji ve Tabii Kaynaklar Bakanlığı tarafından düzenlenen Enerji Verimliliği Haftası etkinliğinin “İşletmelerde Verimlilik Çözümleri” oturumunda yer aldık.

Bu oturumda yaklaşımımızı, verim karnesi ürünümüzü, işletmelerin verimlilik araştırmasını ve enerji verimliliği odağındaki çalışmalarımızı paylaştık.

Etkinliğin gerçekleşmesinde emeği geçen herkese ve değerli katkılarıyla katılım sağlayan tüm katılımcılara teşekkür ederiz. 🧡

2025 yılı boyunca hem Türkiye’de hem de uluslararası platformlarda pek çok proje, etkinlik ve iş birliği gerçekleştirdik. Yıl boyunca etkimiz büyüdü, umut ve dayanışmanın gücünü hep birlikte artırdık. Bu özel bültenimizde, kurucu ortaklarımıza kalemi uzatarak 2025’e dair değerlendirmelerini ve 2026’ya yönelik dileklerini paylaştıkları mesajları sizlerle buluşturuyoruz.
