Hailing from Point Fortin, Sherwin Bridgewater brings a calm, steady, and deeply thoughtful energy to the GBest team as our Business Management Consultant and Marketing Team Lead.

At GBest, Sherwin is the bridge between the business and the people it serves — leading stakeholder engagement and marketing efforts that keep GBest connected to the clients and communities that matter most. And he doesn’t just talk the talk. Armed with an MBA in Emerging Markets and a BA in Business Administration, plus his certification as an ILO SIYB Certified Trainer, Sherwin brings a globally informed perspective to every conversation.

He chose his career for one reason: the opportunity to create and give back. And with GBest? Well, they have history — which tells you everything about the kind of loyalty and trust he builds wherever he goes. 🤝

When he’s not in the boardroom, you’ll find him outdoors — because the man who tells others to say no to stress definitely practices what he preaches. 🌿

The team behind your success. Meet Robin and Caché🌟 They are two consultants on our team that are dedicated to driving business growth across Trinidad and Tobago and beyond 💫🌟



✨ Meet Robin! ✨

San Fernando’s own Richard “Robin” Hillson is one of GBest’s most seasoned voices — and our Research & Development Manager.

At GBest, Robin drives the research behind our proposals, investigates opportunities to broaden our client reach, and stands at the front of the room as one of our lead training facilitators.

He holds a BA (Hons) from Leeds University and an MA from the University of British Columbia — two institutions that reflect a career built across continents and disciplines.

But here’s where Robin’s story gets genuinely remarkable. Away from the boardroom, he is a Canadian-certified Level 3 Athletics Coach who spent years as head coach of a Vancouver BC track club, served as BC Provincial Coach on multiple occasions, and placed athletes on Canadian national teams — most of it voluntarily, because that’s the kind of person he is. He has also worked with behaviourally and mentally challenged children, and taught at both secondary and tertiary levels. Robin doesn’t just develop businesses. He develops people.

He’s fluent in Spanish, conversant in French and Portuguese, and a self-described steelpan and carnival aficionado — obviously ✨🎶🥁

He joined GBest because he shares its values. He stays because the work matters. And he’s here to make GBest’s visibility and profile match the calibre of the people inside it.

✨ Meet Cache! ✨

Straight out of Sangre Grande and making moves, Cache Mary Jahmya Phelmin is GBest’s Business Development Officer — and she’s not here to play.

From identifying RFP opportunities to building winning proposals, Cache is the kind of person who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes and in the boardroom.

A UWI Dean’s Honour Roll recipient (not once, but twice — semesters 1 AND 2 in 2025 🏆), she’s also work she’s also working toward her Toastmasters International certification and holds grades 1–4 in music theory with ABRSM. Yes, she’s that well-rounded.

But what really sets Cache apart is her heart. Her journey with the Rotaract Club turned what started as a requirement into a true calling. In her own words: “Being with the club has given me a renewed sense of pride in both myself and my community.” 🌱

She chose GBest for one simple reason — because GBest cares about people, not just the bottom line. And that says everything.

Passionate. Dedicated. Growth-driven. Oh, and she’s a creative writer too — because of course she is. ✍🏽
Her motto? “Never compete with others — compete to be a better version of yourself every day.” — and we couldn’t agree more. 🌟
