Suggestion to villagers. Get together and place an id camera or two at a strategic point in yr community eg. At the main entrance etc. Hook it up to a dvr in the closest house and have recorded footage of all traffic in and out with the time and date recorded.

Just reviewed the recording of a client's camera system...The guys pulled up with a car next to the client's van, came out and stuck a gun to his head and demanded the van. The client, preferring his life, did as they requested and they drove off with his van...All of the incident was recorded...only for the police to act now...He himself did not see the vehicle they were driving, but the cameras did..
