VACANCY
Seeking an HSE Administrator/ Assistant for a temporary contract of at least 3-6 months.
(Note: Possibility of retention based on performance.)

Hours of work: 7am to 4pm
Time and Responsibilities will be split between two project sites- one in Chaguanas and the other in San Fernando. Therefore access to a vehicle for use is an asset.

Experience Required:
At Least 2 Years' experience in generating OSH Reports, hosting toolbox meetings, developing JSA's, encouraging change in a challenging environment, writing procedures among others.

Minimum Qualifications:
At least a NEBOSH OSH Certificate.

Computer Literacy:
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint. Knowledge in MS Visio and Projects will be an asset.

Personality traits:
Level headed, Assertive, Trustworthy, Driven, Quality of work, Professional Demeanor, self managing against performance targets and standards etc.

Seeking a HSSE Advisor for a Construction Project. Initial 3 month probation, project duration at least 11 months in POS area.
Candidate must have at least 1 year experience on a construction site.
OSHA 30 Hr Construction/ NEBOSH Certificate minimum requirements.
Must be knowledgeable of construction site hazards, managing a dynamic and fast paced environment. Must have a strong personality to engage and command attention and respect. Ability to produce quality reports. Ability to investigate accidents and complete suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments.

VACANCY 2
Currently seeking an HSSE Professional to work on a construction site in Port-of-Spain.
Position will have direct report to Site Project Manager and HSSE Manager.
Working hours are 4 pm - 10 pm Monday to Friday (site may close of early ORextend to 12 midnight (probably once every week or two week period) depending on work being done.
Also work alternate saturdays and every sunday from 7 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities will be to complete site orientation, complete TBRAs and permits, supervise HSE aspect of construction work; co-ordinate emergency response, address infractions, manage sub-contractors, encourage a positive safety culture among others.
MUST: Have experience in the construction industry; have a minimum of an associate degree in HSE; be proficient in usage of basic microsoft office programs, demonstrate ability to identify hazards on site, working knowledge of OSHE Legislations; ability to take direction, report to management and exercise independent thinking. Must be proactive and assertive and be able to function as part of a fast paced work place and a dynamic team.

VACANCY 1- Temporary
Currently looking for an HSSE Professional- currently unemployed- to provide HSSE Support for a period of 3 weeks.

Person will be based in St. Augustine but will require site visits to a Port of Spain site, Couva and Trincity site.
Work is flexitime and will total minimum of 70 hrs but expected 100 hrs for the period.
May be asked to provided site support after 5 pm or on weekends. This is dependent on increase in site activites and will not work on site but provide random visits to ensure HSE standards are being upheld and complied with.

Responsibilities will be to provide support to the HSSE Manager, assist in audits and inspections of site, assist in generating reports and documents, attendnace to site meetings and other meetings, assist in co-ordination of works where there is an increase in site activities; ensure compliance with legal requirement, compliance with new HSSE requirements being implemented etc.

MUST: Have experience in the construction industry; have a minimum of an associate degree in HSE; be proficient in usage of basic microsoft office programs, demonstrate ability to identify hazards on site, working knowledge of OSHE Legislations; ability to take direction, report to management and exercise independent thinking.

This is a temporary appointment to hold for someone proceeding on vacation; however if the person performs satisfactory then there are opportunities for continued employement at same or other sites.
