Mr. Dindial Sikumar has been involved in agriculture for over 44 years as a student, teacher and farmer. On just one acre of land he supplies over 20 restaurants as well as the top supermarket chains in Trinidad & Tobago with herbs like basil, thyme, mint, tarragon and rosemary to name a few.

These tests evaluated the acceptability of introduced varieties of Sweet Potato for making chips and as a staple in the diet. Some of the locations targeted for administering the tests were government offices, farming communities and supermarkets

The results of these tests will inform local farmers which varieties are suitable for processing and which will bring good prices at harvest.
