House of Vetiver is a brand of beautiful, hand-crafted products and housewares made of vetiver grass https://vimeo.com/222586721

House of Vetiver was born out of a project in the hillside farming community of Paramin in T&T, carried out to introduce vetiver grass as a bio-engineering tool for slope stabilization, erosion control, and soil and water conservation. The project also served to introduce vetiver grass use for other purposes such as handicraft making and was a big success, completed between 2016-17, supported by t

And a beautiful documentary was produced to capture the project, which is called "Metiver" in Paramin. It has been shown in several film festivals, and you can now watch it online here!
