๐ŸชŸ๐Ÿ”จ GLASS CEILINGS SHATTERED! Women Hold All 3 Top Offices in T&T ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Trinidad and Tobagoโ€™s three highest offices are now held by trailblazing women; President Christine Kangaloo, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and Leader of the Opposition Pennelope Beckles-Robinson.

This makes Trinidad and Tobago the second country in history, and the first in the Western Hemisphere; where women lead all three top political roles simultaneously! Iceland was first country to achieve this in 2024-2025. Plus Commissioner of Police Erla Harewood-Christopher made history as Trinidad and Tobagoโ€™s first female police chief (serving from 2023-2025).

True power isnโ€™t just about the titles these leaders hold but the lives they impact and the futures they shape. We must work to dismantle systems of violence, economic exclusion, and invisibility that harm marginalised women.. As we build a Trinidad and Tobago and by extension, a world where equality isnโ€™t a goal, but the Norm. ๐ŸŽฏ

Marking a unique moment for our nation, Trinidad and Tobago will have an all-woman executive team from today, serving concurrently for the first time! ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น

This makes Trinidad and Tobago one of the few countries in history where women simultaneously hold all of the top political offices.
