Animal Welfare Network has partnered with ChariTT, powered by MyPay Payment Solutions Ltd.to receive donations to aid in the flood relief for animals.

The Animal Welfare Network is a network of volunteers who join together to pool resources to benefit animals in Trinidad & Tobago.

Many animals, including dogs and cats, have become displaced and seeking refuge from the disaster of the floods in Trinidad.There have been many volunteers throughout the country risking life and limb to save these animals and place them at various vet clinics, shelters and homes. Owners who were also affected need assistance in replacing food, items and medical supplies amongst other things which they have lost in the floods.

suffers in isolation due to a rare but extreme skin tumor condition called that has plagued her entire body with lumps which has made her disfigured and causes her pain. She cannot be gainfully employed and has the burden of single-handedly raising two teenage boys in Edinburgh, Chaguanas.

Despite her fate she still lives in hope and high spirits that one day her tumours will be removed and she can resume her life once again. However, despite attempts to raise public awareness and get attention and support from medical professionals, she still struggles to make ends meet.

Who is Ttspca- Tobago Shelter?

The Tobago Branch of the TTSPCA was founded in late 1968. It is a privately run, non-profit making organisation whose main aim is exactly what the name says - to prevent cruelty to animals. It attempts to locate owners of lost animals, attempts to rehome stray, rescued and unwanted animals, and endeavors to educate the public on caring for animals.
