Our recent Investor Meeting was an important moment for the Group, not only to reflect on a strong 2025 performance, but to share the full picture of what progress looks like at ANSA McAL.

Financial results matter. And ours were strong. Equally important is the broader impact we are delivering as a Group, and that story deserves the same platform. The continued progress being driven across our sustainability and social impact agenda, led by Melanie Richards and Natalie Bibby, is very much part of how we are building toward our 2X ambitions.

The upcoming release of our Sustainability Report will show, in real terms, what it looks like when an organisation commits to doing business the right way. The work happening across our sectors and subsidiaries is touching the lives of our people across the region, inspiring better choices, and contributing to the creation of a better world. This partnership with San Juan Jabloteh is so close to my heart. As a mother, I know how much a little support and guidance can change a young person’s life.

Seeing the dedication, talent, and dreams of these young athletes reminds me why it’s so important to remove barriers and give them the opportunities they deserve. I’m proud that ANSA McAL can play a part in helping them grow, succeed, and reach their full potential, and in the process, strengthen the communities around them.

As we mark Global Recycling Day, it’s inspiring to see innovative initiatives like the Glass Loop Movement, launched today by Packaging, taking important steps toward transforming how glass waste is managed in Trinidad and Tobago.

I had the pleasure of attending the launch this morning at the Hyatt, seeing firsthand how the programme promotes the collection, recycling, and reuse of glass bottles and jars, supporting a more sustainable future.

At ANSA McAL, sustainability is not just a metric or a moment, it is embedded in how we operate and the choices we make every day. Initiatives like this reflect that commitment, while encouraging other businesses and communities to adopt more responsible practices and be part of this collective effort.

While Carnival energy filled Trinidad 🇹🇹 last week, my focus was in Guyana 🇬🇾 for the Guyana Energy Conference.

One thing is clear: Guyana is not simply growing; it is shaping itself for what comes next.

Beyond oil and gas, the real opportunity is downstream and adjacent: infrastructure, logistics, services, and critically, manufacturing. As the economy expands, so too will demand for locally produced goods, regional supply chains, packaging, distribution networks, and consumer brands that can scale responsibly.

In conversations with Rafeek Khan (President of the Guyana Manufacturing & Services Association) John Edghill (Senior Director of Investment at GO-INVEST) and Serah Radhaykissoon (Business Development Executive) the message was consistent: Guyana is moving from extraction to value creation.

For the ANSA McAL Group, this aligns directly with our growth ambition. We know how to build industrial capacity. We know how to scale manufacturing across markets. And we know how to pair growth with stewardship.
