Ready to lead in Guyana?
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the business strategy and annual business plan.
Drive revenue growth, profitability and new business development.
Assume overall responsibility for the company’s P&L, budget, cash flow and working capital.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and business partners.
Oversee commercial, financial, operational, warehouse and supply-chain performance.
Lead, coach and develop the management team and employees.
Ensure effective organizational structures, processes and performance management.
Monitor market developments and identify new business opportunities.
Ensure compliance with local legislation, Group policies, governance requirements and HSEQ standards.
Provide timely management reporting and recommendations to VSH Group Management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is an advantage.
Approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience, including several years in senior management.
Experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager, Commercial Director or similar leadership role.
Demonstrated experience with P&L responsibility and business growth.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Proven people leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience in B2B trading, distribution, industrial products, PPE, Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction or related sectors is preferred.
Experience or a strong business network in Guyana is highly desirable.
