Designer with a love for paper and calligraphy. Particulary enjoy stationery and greeting cards. I'm based in Trinidad Hope you enjoy!

Irving Street Papiers stemmed from my desire to return to a more traditional time - postcards, note cards just to say hello, letters - communication that didn't require an outlet! An architect by profession I tend to preference more traditional styling with a modern twist. My preference is to combine the old and the new and striking a balance to create something hopefully unique and pleasing. Irvi

ng Street Papiers provides calligraphy services for note cards, invitations, throw pillows, glassware...and the list continues to grow! If there's a surface to write on I'll try it at least once - which for me makes the experience that much more unique.

This post is for my youngest recipient so far - He entered his school's calypso competition singing about one of my favourite things ever!!!!! - DOUBLES, and won! So when his mum reached out I couldn't help but get a little excited to put these together. Congrats for him and Thank Yous for his backup singers and the teachers that helped.

Haven't been posting for a while, but mainly because I've had a few surprise requests soooooooo, there's that. This post is about one of those - In an attempt to help a friend surprise his girlfriend I may have scared her instead briefly..... . Some may say I over commit, but I think it's safe to say that collectively we had fun with all of this. Thanks for being so cool about all of this....especially you Robyn!!!!

When the recipient of one of your cards approaches you to say you that she loved it and just wanted to say thanks, is pretty cool. Had a smile on my face and some pep in my step after that!
