We don’t vet freelancers on SkillfinderTT. This is why it matters.

That might sound unusual at first, but we intentionally created the platform that way.

SkillfinderTT is designed to give employers direct access to local freelancers across Trinidad and Tobago, so you can see who is available, what they offer, and choose who fits your needs.

We don’t filter people out upfront because every business has different standards, budgets, and expectations. What works for one company may not work for another. We also have put in place a payment process where the freelancer only gets paid when the job is complete. So your payment is protected on the platform.

Virtual Assistant Services & Business Solutions, where I support entrepreneurs and small business owners with the day-to-day tasks that keep their operations running smoothly. I focus on creating systems and structure so my clients can spend more time growing their business instead of getting caught up in the back-end work.

Q: What led you into virtual assistance?

My background in Human Resources gave me years of experience managing people, coordinating operations, and improving internal processes. Over time, I realized I could take those same skills and use them to directly support business owners who need reliable, hands-on help behind the scenes.

Q: What do clients typically come to you for help with?

Most of my clients need support getting organized and staying consistent. That can look like managing emails and calendars, handling customer communication, tracking payments, or even helping with research and lead generation. I step in wherever there is a gap and help bring order to the workflow.

Q: How do you approach your work with clients?

I believe in being dependable and easy to work with. My clients know they can trust me to handle tasks efficiently and professionally, without needing constant follow-up. I aim to be someone they can rely on so they can focus on the bigger picture.

SkillfinderTT (Q): What’s the biggest misconception business owners have about marketing?
Ashley (A): That they need to do more. More content. More platforms. More trends. Most of the time, they don’t need more activity. They need clarity. When you’re clear on your positioning and your audience, your marketing becomes simpler and more effective.
Q: When a client comes to you feeling overwhelmed, where do you start?
A: We start with positioning. If you don’t know exactly how your brand should be perceived, everything else becomes guesswork. From there, we clarify who you’re actually speaking to and refine your messaging so it resonates. Only after that do we build a 60–90 day marketing strategy.
Q: So strategy comes after clarity?
A: Always. A strategy built on confusion just creates more noise. I develop marketing plans rooted in the client’s goals, strengths, and audience, not trends. The goal is intentional growth, not random visibility.
Q: What does working with you feel like in practice?
A: It’s structured but collaborative. We have four weekly 1:1 sessions, and clients leave with a clear ex*****on roadmap. But I don’t just hand over a plan. I guide implementation, review what’s being executed, and adjust where necessary. It’s a partnership.
Q: Who benefits most from this approach?
A: Business owners who are ready to move from scattered efforts to strategic growth. The ones who want their marketing to feel aligned, confident, and profitable, not chaotic.
