We want to be heard. We want to get our point across. We want to be seen. We want to be respected. Instead of shouting louder though, let's listen harder than others do. learn to do the hard work of listening. Listening to understand the needs and wants of our spouses, our children, our customers, our colleagues. Let's listen to show that we actually care. Let's listen to allow ourselves the space to respond in honesty rather than pride. Let's listen to connect over responding and to just to be right.⁣ Let's listen because TITANS LISTEN.

Generosity has very little to do with having alot to give. It's a heart condition. We shouldn't wait until we have more to give, to then decide to give. If we do that, we'll never end up giving! And by extension, we limit our returns. Instead we need to give out of what we already have. Ask yourself: what do I have? ⁣
⁣
Receiving is directly connected to giving. It is natural. We experience this exchange everyday. In fact, to be a hoarder--to be someone who holds on to everything without release-- is to go against the natural order of things. ⁣
⁣
You give your time and skill to your employer and you receive a wage. You give a service or product to a customer and you receive payment. You share your expertise and knowledge with others, and you receive honour and respect. You give your heart to the Creator and receive all else in return. Giving and receiving is as fundamental as breathing! ⁣
⁣
There's much more to this, but we'll leave you with this biblical proverb:"A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."⁣

We make mistakes. Sometimes so large or so many that that we can feel defeated. And for some of us--feeling like we have limited options--we can rush in to correct our mistakes, and end up...well, making even more mistakes!!!
⁣
So what do we do when we make a mistake? ⁣
⁣
Well, let's first recognise that there is always grace and forgiveness available. People may not be willing to forgive (you can't control that!) or you may have a hard time forgiving yourself at first but you have a heavenly father who is full of grace and 100% willing to forgive when you ask. ⁣
⁣
To receive forgiveness you have to be willing to take responsibility for the decisions you made that contributed or culminated in the mistake. Easier said than done but oh so necessary. ⁣
⁣
Be willing to learn. In the very least, your mistakes teach you what not to do. Seeking counsel from a trusted friend, coach or advisor can help you see truth and process your error in the right spirit and perspective so that you do not repeat your mistake. ⁣
⁣
Choose to move forward with confident expectation. This is a choice. Excersise your right to move on and move forward. ⁣

If you haven't begun, now is a good time as any to get started on evaluating the year you've had in your personal life, work or business. It's healthy to engage in an objective evaluation of your experiences as it fuels your learning and growth. ⁣
⁣
Experience by itself won't translate into growth unless you take the time to evaluate it. ⁣
⁣
Remember now that objective evaluation is based in fact and observations not your opinions or personal feelings. Objective evaluation is a solid starting point for any process of evaluation. You have much to gain by doing it. So make the effort to get it done before the year is out. You won't regret it. ⁣
