The passing of Slinger Francisco, "The Mighty Sparrow," marks the end of a monumental era for Calypso, Trinidad and Tobago, and the global cultural landscape.

As the undisputed "Calypso King of the World," his matchless lyricism, sharp wit, unforgettable stage presence, and timeless compositions shaped the soundtrack of the Caribbean for generations. His contributions as a singer, songwriter, mentor, and cultural ambassador laid the groundwork for modern Caribbean music and elevated the art form onto the international stage.

Deepest condolences go out to his family, loved ones, and the entire cultural and entertainment community mourning this profound loss. His legacy remains an eternal pillar of Caribbean heritage.
