"PAY IT FORWARD"
In my early years as a child throughout my primary and high school education God sent earthly angels to provide for me when my parents weren't able to🙌. One name that stands out is Mr. Phillips 😇. At our home, and both my grandmother's home I also learnt 'to give was better than to receive'🫶
Over the years, although I am not wealthy I have tried my best to keep this principle alive. This year, with so many persons on the breadline I prayed and asked God to give me the ability to do more and he made a way🙏
On Wednesday 2nd September we met at the Manzanilla SDA Church where we provided the students and their parents with a light refreshment.🙂
I shared a little piece of my story and reminded them that their beginning do not need to be their end.☺️
I also shared little book labels of my favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you ______,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. , leaving a space for each child to write their name.🙌
I then said a prayer over their lives covering them for the new school term and asking God to give them the strength to endure their trials.😌😇
They chatted with us, collected their stationery items, thanked us and left with smiles on their faces🥰🥰
