✨ It is said that, charity begins at home and ends abroad! 🇹🇹 🇬🇾 Last Friday night brought a truly beautiful and pleasant surprise to Georgetown, Guyana!

We are incredibly proud to share that our Founder and Executive Director, Mrs. Maurissa Smith, was deeply honoured to receive the Community Development and Entrepreneurship Award from the Sangre Grande (Cunapo) Development Foundation presented at their incredible 16th Anniversary Dinner, held in the Georgetown Guyana. 🇹🇹 ➡️ 🇬🇾

This recognition means the world to our organization. It highlights exactly how Ms. Smith's contribution has expanded regionally. The distinguished foundation specifically recognized our vital work in bolstering entrepreneurship for economic growth, alongside our premier business development consultancy services.It honors the deep background work Ms. Smith leads at THRIVE TT, moving people out of unemployment and into legitimate, legal business ownership.

Furthermore, it celebrates how that exact impact has spread across borders and marks a perfect transition into her current role as an Organizational Development Advisor with the Protected Areas Trust (PAT) Guyana. In this role, she is working on the regional CORE Project, a vital initiative funded by the Government of Canada, led by the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund (CBF), and partnered with Cuso International.
