My lead was ready to pay me but...

Dubsado wasn't the right fit for her most critical business needs.

I recently had a sales call with a new lead eager to take advantage of my Dubsado Done-for-you Set-Up service.

She was so enthusiastic that by the "investment" portion of the call she needed no convincing and was ready to send payment!

However as we got into the nitty gritty of what her actual most critical business needs were, she realized what she really wanted to prioritize right now was setting up a system that helped her Streamline her service delivery and collaborate with her team member...
.. She actually needed a Project Management tool

Disappointing as the call ended there were some key takeaways for us both.

For the Lead:
●It's important to know and be able to articulate your businesses most critical needs at any given point.
●Not all tools can serve the same purpose... Even the "all-in-one" ones that claim they do.
●Having an objective discussion with someone else about your business can reveal and garner valuable insight.

For me:
●Sales aren't always guaranteed no matter the leads willingness and intention
●Sales calls have the potential to reveal needs that the client didn't initially come to you for or that you can solve
●My marketing messaging on Dubsado is creating leads ready to book and pay.

This experience highlighted the importance of aligning the choice of business tools with the specific needs of each business. While my lead was prepared to invest, it became evident that Dubsado wasn't the optimal solution to address her essential business requirements. This scenario serves as a reminder that thorough assessment and customization of tools are vital steps towards achieving seamless backend operations and sustained growth.
