高雄市電腦商業同業公會成立於1984年4月27日，由設立於高雄市區域之電腦公司及資訊產業所組成，以推廣電腦應用、促進經濟發展、協調同業團結及增進共同利益為宗旨。 1984年7月舉辦第一屆高雄市電腦展，為高雄市推動資訊新知邁開一大步，本會初創時期會員家數為25家，近幾年來在歷屆理監事及會員的熱心參與及支持下增加至2011年會員編號已達三千七佰餘號 ，為台灣第二大電腦公會組織。
